Leszno restarts the Permanent Cross Country Camp !
Aero Club Leszno , continuing the 5 decades of heritage of competition gliding, after a brief break would like to restore the organization of sporting events involving gliders. We are happy to invite everybody to the first edition of the PCCC 2022 (Permanent Cross Country Camp) professional gliding camp that would last the whole season.
Glider pilots of any skill levels may feel invited. With us, you would perfect your thermal skills and make the first steps in cross-country gliding. We are also open to organizing a competition-based environment for those willing to compete.
What’s available:
-
- reliable fleet of 6 tow planes – every day, should the weather conditions permit
- plenty of space at a huge and safe airfield, with secured tie-down areas for gliders and trailers
- instructor support for the less advanced pilots, including training flights involving our two-seater gliders;
- daily pre-flight briefing and task assignment, weather analysis and airspace information;
- debriefing and after-flight review;
- support provided by experienced and award-winning pilots, happy to share their experience and know-how, also airborne;
- healthy sporting spirit of competition and collaboration;
- when flying is not possible – lectures and courses on flight planning, competition gliding and technical issues would be available.
If the weather does not permit cross-country, the following, unusual attractions would be available:
